The Beginning
Every Tuesday Meryl’s third grade class was assigned Night Writes. Night Writes needed to be two hand-written, double-spaced pages. Meryl routinely turned in stories at least four typed pages long. They started writing their first novel before they hit double digits. Meryl was easily distracted by other interests, but they always came back to writing.
